This post, so well done, Bruce. Congratulations on moving on. I received Majid's copy of "Uplift" while sorting out his bookcase for the next chapter. It is a very lively, information packed book. Lots of waves to ride.

I am curious as to who the intended audience is? These days, at 7 decades put in, how do we connect in a real way with those who are inheriting this earthly existence from us?

Going for "sought" rather than "seeker" resonates.

Hi Linda.

Thank you for your kind response. “Who is the intended audience?” My day job has intended audiences, but my books reflect my curiosity, inquiry, and integration of a life lived. For the most part, I’m writing for myself and need to keep my creative chops alive and fresh as I’m not ready to whither on the vine.

My grief journey writing has given me a much-needed frame of trust and meaning — helping me see that god hasn’t hung me out to dry or that Karen’s death was a terrible aberration.

Back to audience: 50 percent of all couples will face this survivor predicament- so that’s a pretty big audience.

Thanks again. Be well.
